What Makes Us Different? We Avoid Boring Zoom Lectures Using a "Flip The Classroom" Approach:

Here's the truth: Zoom fatigue is the result of meetings that shouldn't happen in the first place and training that could be consumed offline.

We should us virtual meetings for collaborative problem-solving. Our approach is to use weekly lectures for short recaps of concepts, breakout sessions, practicing, roleplaying, and giving each other feedback.

Bloom's Taxonomy of learning is a good way of thinking about this. Most companies spend all their "learning" efforts at the bottom of the pyramid. At StrategyU, we focus on the top of the pyramid and think about designing the incentives such that people are going to be motivated to focus on "remembering" and "understanding" on their own time.

Paul is a former consultant who worked full-time in strategy consulting from 2008 to 2017 including McKinsey & Company and Boston Consulting Group and now works as a freelance consultant, content creator, and entrepreneur.

We also have a roster of former McKinsey, Bain & BCG trainers. We only work with MBB consultants.
